:: I am a freelance professional photographer and website designer in Arlington, Virginia near the District of Columbia, USA.  In 1981 I retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army after twenty years of service. My military background was in communications and data processing as well as aviation.

:: I hold a Bachelor of Industrial Management degree from Auburn University and a Masters degree in Information Technology from George Washington University.

:: I have been designing websites for myself and others since 1999 and at one time owned and maintained over 25 sites. I thoroughly enjoy the whole process of web design and especially working with a client to achieve for them a unique online presence which meets their requirements.

:: I will work with you in creating a site that will be easy for your visitors to navigate and, if you choose, to maintain and make changes yourself. However I am also available to act as your Webmaster to design and maintain your site as changes become necessary.

:: The site design and hosting service that I use is provided by Homestead Technologies. I use the service  myself for all of my current websites. Although the company offers several packages, the one that I use and recommend to you is their Gold Package. This package includes a free domain and more than enough capacity for a small to medium sized site. I have 19 websites with almost 500 pages and over 1000 files with my one domain account.

:: How does this all work? First you will sign up for a domain and service package with Homestead. If you want to design and maintain your own website, nothing further is required. However, if you want me to create your site, based on your requirements, then after signing up with Homestead, you would give me the email address and password giving me the access to your domain. Based on the information you fill out about your requirements, I will present several different design suggestions to you for your approval. After you approve one of the basic designs, I will complete your site, using content provided by you, for final approval and uploading to the server.
